Happy Halloween!! We’ve been running around like crazy during the past few weeks. We are busy with soccer games, projects, business and lots of other things. When things stay extremely frenetic for a long period of time — our batteries wear down and we start to falter. At least I do. If this happens to you, then you may start getting signals to slow down.
This past Sunday we were working frantically to get some things done so we could leave town for a week. Nothing was going right and I was being quite grumpy with almost everyone I met. There were walls and blocks at every turn, it seemed. I was tired and getting frustrated. My sweet wife looked at me, very compassionately and just said “Breathe” — which is something I coach folks to do all of the time. I did and we all lived happily ever after, or so it seemed.
So — BREATHE! Take some time to see what your bad days are telling you. Slow down when you feel like it… and relax.
