Canyon Treks – Fine tuning the Law of Attraction

I am heartened that, with the fading notoriety of the movie “The Secret”, the buzz around the Law of Attraction hasn’t faded completely into the background. I’ve noticed that for some it was a flash-in-the-pan, but for others it was the beginning of a process of peeling back their layers of ego and external expectations to get reacquainted with “who they really are.”
Most of us are ego focused. That is, we want what makes us look good in the eyes of others – material possessions, money, good looks, etc. The Secret certainly played on these ego desires – but many have noticed that something just doesn’t feel quite right, or complete about this approach. I’ve discussed the ego at length in previous treks – but suffice it to say that there is something much more important and fulfilling about Using the Law of Attraction than feeding the ego’s desire to look good to others.
What we’re looking for here is your Soul Purpose. If, in the process of attempting to use the Law of Attraction you try to attract things into your life that run at cross purposes to your Soul Purpose – then you are going to have problems. Problems like, having this unconscious feeling that you’re not on target – so you subconsciously “cancel out” your stated or written desires. In many cases, this unconscious feeling is an external “no voice” that we internalized when we were growing up. In other cases, the feeling is the “still small voice” of your soul attempting to speak to you from beneath layers of ego. Which is it? The good news is that, in either case, you need to start digging through your layers of ego if you’d like to really turn on the power of the Law of Attraction.
We named our company Soul Canyon Training & Development because this is where most of us are, digging through those layers of ego. In order to connect and find our Soul Purpose we each need to mine our way through these crusty layers and find our way into the Canyon of our Soul – our Soul Canyon. Whenever we are working with folks, helping them to use the Law of Attraction, we start by identifying Core Values and Mission Statements that are intended to individually and collectively connect with this, often deeply hidden, Soul Purpose.
The Universe rewards those who are about the business of rediscovering who they really are – and then sharing their fully awakened selves with the world. Wouldn’t now be a great time to kick this process into high gear for you and those you love?
